PURPOSE: A battery case is provided, which is loaded in a gas range operated by a battery and does not allow a battery to bump into the front part of the ceiling part even if the battery is bound off from the bottom of a case body. CONSTITUTION: The battery case comprises a case body(2) which is provided with an elastic means for supporting batteries to allow a plurality of batteries to be aligned in serial consistently; and a case cover(4) which is provided with a ceiling face(48) for preventing the separation of a battery when the case body(2) is contained, wherein a slope(48a) is formed at the front part of the ceiling part(48) for inducing the battery to the lower part of the ceiling face(48) when the battery is contained in the case body(2).
