PURPOSE: To provide a tempo controller in which a tempo is controlled by an optimum operation in accordance with the technical skill level of an operator. CONSTITUTION: The controller is provided with modes A and B as tempo controlling modes. The mode A is for a beginner and the tempo controlling is performed by operating a tempo control signal output device by a rhythm timing. The mode B is for an experienced person and the tempo controlling is performed by operating the tempo controller with a finer timing than the rhythm timing (for example, the timing is varied for each note). Thus, an optimum tempo control is accomplished in accordance with the skill level of the operator and the mode selected by the operator. |
