PURPOSE:To provide the cross-linking flame-resistant composition improved in the abrasion resistance and heat resistance while holding the good mechanical strength, good flexibility, good processability and high flame retardancy, and not producing toxic gases such as a halogen gas. CONSTITUTION:A cross-linking flame-retardant composition is characterized by comprising (I) 100 pts.wt. of a polymer component containing (A) polyethylene or a 3-13C alpha-olefin (co)polymer having a density of >=0.94g/cm<3> and (B) at least one kind of ethylenic (co)polymer or rubber, (II) 30-200 pts.wt. of an inorganic flame-retardant agent, (III) 1-20 pts.wt. of a cross-linking auxiliary, the content of (A) in the polymer component (I) being 10-90wt.%, the content of (B) being 90-10wt.%, and the polymer component (I) having at least one functional group selected from carboxyl group, epoxy group, hydroxy group, amino group, etc., in an amount of 10<-8> to 10<-3>g equivalent per g of the whole polymer components. |
