The invention relates to a bar bell having variable distance between the grip handles, used in sports, during training meant to develop the muscular force. According to the invention, the bar bell having variable distance between the grip handles comprises weight-adjusting disks (H) mounted on some shoulders (1a) welded onto some outer rings (1) wherein other concentric rings (2) integral with the grip handles (2a) move in a guided manner, some rods (1b) slidable inside a slide (4) being fastened to the outer rings (1), said slide (4) being provided with some adjusting screws (3a) having the function of adjusting and fixing the position of the rods (1b).
