construction engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: envelope is made from reinforced polymer materials with phenol-formaldehyde binders. After impregnation of filler with binder and molding of article, envelope is subjected to curing by raising temperature on inner surface to 170 C at rate of 5 to 15 C/h and removal of heat from outer surface maintaining temperature gradient between 20 and 30 C/cm. As a result, volatile products escape outside through liquid binder and pores are filled with binder from outer layer. Thus, defects in envelope are reduced and inner layers gain higher thermal and chemical resistance, thus extending field of efficient use of envelopes. EFFECT: reduction of defects and increased temperature range of envelope operation. 1 tbl
