PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform various kinds of operation by a small number of operation members by allotting a function concerning photographing to a single switch when the camera is set in a photographing condition and a function concerning the condition of the camera to it when the camera is not set in the photographing condition and switching the functions. SOLUTION: A finder sensor 41 is incorporated in the vicinity of a finder 14a so as to detect whether an object exists in the vicinity of the finder 14a and gives the detected result to a photographing condition detection part 42. Based on the detection output, the detection part 42 detects whether or not the camera is set in the photographing condition. The detected result is given to a switch function changeover part 43 so as to control to change over the function of a zoom switch 35 in accordance with the detection output. A zoom function is allotted to the single zoom switch 35 when the camera is set in the photographing condition and a diaphragm value selecting function is allotted to the switch 35 when it is not set in the photographing condition, and the functions are changed over. |
