PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make facial pressure distribution for a slide member proper in a packing for fluid pressure. SOLUTION: In the packing 10 having an annular U groove part 5 for receiving an oil pressure, an annular slide side lip 1 pressed against a piston rod (slide member) by an oil pressure, an annular heel part 2 opposing to an opening end side of a mounting groove, an annular shoulder part 3 opposing to a corner part of the mounting groove, and an annular fixed side lip 4 pressed against a bottom face of the mounting groove by an oil pressure, it has a first annular inclined face 11 so as to leave the piston rod gradually from the slide side lip 1 to the heel part 2, and the heel part 2 is continuously curved from the first inclined face 11. |
