PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel slit dam facilitating removal of sediment and rocks caught and accumulated in a dam and replacement of a member deformed by a collision of rocks, reducing the number of members, and lowering a material cost, a machining cost and an assembling cost. SOLUTION: Main skeletal structures 8 are arranged at required member clearances in the river width direction, and a movable or replaceable auxiliary structure 10 is built in the member clearance of the main skeletal structure 8.
