PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for cross cutting which enables forming of a cut simply and accurately on a test piece for the testing of a paint. SOLUTION: This jig is provided with a base member 2 set on a test piece T and a guide member 3 for guiding in the formation of cuts Ca and Cb. The base member 2 has a mounting part 5 which mounts the guide member 3 being allowed to be shifted between the first mounting position for forming the cut Ca as made in one direction and the second mounting position for forming the cut Cb as made in the other direction crossing the one direction.
