PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a road and a member for a road in which deterioration in corrosion resistance caused by wind and rain or deterioration in corrosion resistance caused by influence of SOx contained in an exhaust gas of an automobile or the like can be suppressed. SOLUTION: To the material for a road and the member for a road, galvannealing of, by weight, 1 to 4% Mg and 4 to 22% Al, and the balance Zn with inevitable impurities is applied. Further, 0.002 to 0.1% Ti and 0.0005 to 0.045% B may be contained, and, if required, at least one kind of easily oxidizable elements selected from rare earth elements, Y, Zr and Si may be contained. The material and member are suitably used for sound insulation walls, soundproof walls, sound absorption walls, wind protection walls, snow protection walls, guardrails, balustrades, protection fencing, struts or the like. |
