PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for driving an electrolytic capacitor, which can restrain reduction of capacitance and rise of tanδof an electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: Higher dibasic acid or its salt, and a boric acid or its ammonium salt are dissolved in solvent, which is mainly composed of ethylene glycol and nordihydroguaiaretic acid is added 0.10 to 5.00 wt.%.
