PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a photosensitive planographic printing plate having satisfactory printing resistance even under printing conditions using a plate cleaner with frequency or even when UV ink is used and excellent also in development latitude. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the photosensitive planographic printing plate, a photosensitive composition containing a high molecular compound (A) having a urethane bond or a urea bond in a side chain, insoluble in water and soluble in an alkaline aqueous solution, an alkali-soluble novolak resin (B) and o-naphthoquinone diazide (C) is dissolved in a coating solvent containing a solvent of formula (I) (where R1 and R2 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl which may have a substituent or acetyl) and the top of an aluminum base is coated with the resulting solution and dried. |
