PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidifier for water-containing soils which shows a high fluidity for enabling easy handling during soil stabilizing or other working processes and rapidly agglomerates and solidifies to form a fine solidified substance after the completion of the process. SOLUTION: The solidifier for water-containing soils comprises at least one inorganic cement, at least one alkali silicate component and at least one metal salt/hydroxide chosen from salts and hydroxides of alkaline metals and alkaline earth metals and salts and hydroxides of iron and aluminum.
