PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient measurement method and device for reversible multi-port device in vector network analysis. SOLUTION: In this measurement method, first, an error term is removed from a measured S parameter. Next, source matching and load matching are normalized. In a process of the normalization, a difference between the source matching and the load matching is removed. As a result, in the reversible device, measurement for deciding a transmission coefficient between first and second ports requires only measurement of the transmission coefficient in a single direction.
