<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an input system which can efficiently select an item, correct a wrong choice, and determine a choice only by the movement input of a pointing device. SOLUTION: An area which can be specified with the pointing device includes an item selection area which is related to items to be selected and a selected item determination area wherein a selected item is determined. When the item selection area is specified by the movement input of the pointing device, a currently selected item is changed into an item related to the item selection area. When the selected item determination area is specified by the movement input of the pointing device, the currently selected item is determined.</p> |
