PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastening structure with excellent workability. SOLUTION: This tapered plug 1 is provided with a tapered part 101 with an outside surface having a truncated cone shape, a collar part 102 projected from the tapered part 101 and formed at a termination of an enlarged side of the tapered part 101, having a plane orthogonally crossing in an axial direction of the tapered part 101, and a female screw 104 as an extension part extended in the axial direction of the tapered part 101. A member to be fastened of the screw fastening structure is made by driving the tapered plug 1 in a hole 3 simultaneously working a hole tapered part 301 and a hole step part 302.
