1. A pharmaceutical composition comprising levosimendan as an active ingredient and alginic acid as a stability improving agent. 2. A composition of Claim 1 wherein the amount of alginic acid is 0.1-99 % per weight of the composition. 3. A composition of Claim 2 wherein the amount of alginic acid is 5-70 %, preferably 10-40 %, per weight of the composition. 4. A composition of any of Claims 1-3, wherein the composition is for oral administration. 5. A composition of Claim 4, which is in the form of tablets, dragees, capsules, powders or granules. 6. A composition of any of claims 1-5, wherein the amount of the active ingredient in the composition is from 0.1 to 20 % per weight of the composition. 7. A composition of any of Claims 1-6 wherein the amount of the active ingredient is 0.1 to 10 mg. |
