PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose cleaning tool capable of achieving a plurality of works by one cleaning tool and in one operation. SOLUTION: This multipurpose cleaning tool comprises a cleaning tool base plate 12, a buffer member 18, a liquid accommodation part 32, a liquid feed medium 24 with an upper end thereof communicated with the liquid accommodation part 32 via a passage 38, a medium holding cavity 34 for supporting an upper part 40 of the liquid feed medium 24, a wiping sheet 20 which surrounds the lower side of the buffer member 18 and a lower end of the liquid feed medium 24. The liquid feed medium 24 has a slit 42 at the position leading to the passage 38 of an upper surface 44 thereof, and when the tool is not in use, the upper part 40 of the liquid feed medium 24 including the slit 42 is firmly maintained in the medium holding cavity 34, and the liquid from the liquid accommodation part 32 does not flow downward. On the other hand, when the tool is in use, a breathing opening 46 is formed between the slit 42 and the medium holding cavity 34, and the liquid from the liquid accommodation part 32 flows downwardly into the liquid feed medium 24.
