PURPOSE:To obtain a clip type correlator which shows the satisfactory clipping characteristics even to the input signal of a low level, by applying the bias to a differential emitter follower forming a correlator. CONSTITUTION:The subtraction signals supplied to input terminals 21a and 21b connected in common with each other are supplied in common to the bases of transistors 23a and 24a at the other side of a PNP differential emitter follower 23 and an NPN differential emitter follower 24 respectively via a clamping circuit 22. At the same time, said subtration signal is supplied directly to an amplifier 25. The output signal of the amplifier 25 is transmitted through a clamping circuit 28 and supplied to the bases of the TR23b and 24b at one side of the followers 23 and 24 via a negative bias application means 26 and a positive bias application means 27. The upper half of the output signal of the follower 23 is supplied to an adder 31 via an upper clip circuit 29. While the lower half of the output signal of the follower 24 is supplied to the adder 31 via a lower clip circuit 30. |
