PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyamino compound of low residual unreacted raw material diamine content, having low viscosity and containing no reaction product from the epihalohydrin and the alcohol by reaction between a diamine having an aromatic ring or alicyclic group, an epihalohydrin and an alcohol using an alkali metal compound. SOLUTION: This method for producing a polyamino compound comprises reaction between an alcohol, an epihalohydrin and an alcohol followed by reaction of the reaction product with a diamine and then dehydrohalogenation of the resulting reaction product with an alkali metal compound.
