PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for promoting growth of green lawn, by applying a magnetic flux to the lawn. SOLUTION: This method for promoting the growth of the green lawn comprises embedding magnets of magnetized ferrite, preferably having a rectangular plate-like and/or semicylindrical shape, in the soil surrounding hairy roots of lawn grass in the green lawn so as to make hairy root cells active. The lawn thus activated is improved in the growth so as to be well maintained and managed. The growth o the lawn grass is more improved by using the magnets together with a fertilizer to which magnetic powder of the magnetized ferrite is added. |
