PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zone control type conveyor system for performing interrupt control on an optional zone and a signal interrupting device used for the system. SOLUTION: This conveyor system divided into plural control zones A, B and C juxtaposed in the carrying direction has a motor for obtaining carrying force and zone controllers 6a, 6b and 6c for controlling driving of the motor. The conveyor system connected with one end of a signal conductor 9 for inputting a prescribed signal used for controlling driving of the motor has the signal interrupting device 8 in a midway part of the signal conductor 9. The signal interrupting device 8 has an operation part for changing a state to a first state of outputting a signal supplied to the signal conductor 9 from the other end of the signal conductor 9 to one end side of the signal conductor 9 and a second state of outputting a prescribed signal to one end side of the signal conductor 9 by generating the prescribed signal regardless of the signal supplied to the signal conductor 9 from the other end of the signal conductor 9.
