PURPOSE: A load display apparatus for a movable crane is provided to prevent damage of the crane by minimizing detection error and accurately recognizing the current state of the crane, while achieving improved safety. CONSTITUTION: A load display apparatus comprises a boom length detection unit(11), a boom angle detection unit(13), a swing angle detection unit(15) and a pressure detection unit(17). The boom length detection unit includes a roller which rotates by a wire rope wound at a wire rope reel, and a boom length detection pulse encoder(1) connected to the rotating shaft of the roller. The boom length is output in pulse signals, and calculated and displayed. The boom angle detection unit includes an eccentric weight and a boom angle detection pulse encoder(3). The swing angle detection unit includes a swing detection pinion engaged with a swing gear, and a swing angle detection pulse encoder(7). The pressure detection unit includes an upper pressure sensor(4) mounted at the upper portion of a hydraulic cylinder, and a lower pressure sensor(5) mounted at the lower portion of the hydraulic cylinder.
