THERMAL CONTROL DEVICE AND THERMAL CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal control device using phase change material formed thin and having an emissivity characteristic equal to that of a conventional device. SOLUTION: The thermal control device 10 controls temperature of an object 3 with composite material 4 constituted by combining the phase change material 1 having insulator characteristics in its high temperature phase, where the amount of thermal emission is large and metallic characteristics in its low temperature phase, where the amount of thermal emission is small, and showing high reflectivity in area of thermal infrared radiation on the low temperature phase, and base material 2 where the amount of thermal emission is large at its high temperature phase.
