PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coding system, in which an operator efficiently enables coding treatment in a short time by operation of little fatigue. SOLUTION: In the coding system, at the time for distributing the image of rejected mail to the terminal of each video coding, when at least a part of an address can not be recognized or at least a part of a postal code number can not be recognized, the part incapable of recognizing the read image is manifested and indicated. Only the address or the postal code number of the part incapable of recognition is inputted.
