PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a proper method does not exist though various kinds of attempts are made concerning a method for rendering the thickness of a marker attachment part to be the same as that of other parts in outer diameter in the case of attaching a color marker for confirming an insertion length to a body or an X-ray impermeable marker for confirming the position of a catheter tip part with respect to the catheter. SOLUTION: The markers 6 and 7 of the catheter 1 are formed of a material which contains a colorant or an X-ray impermeable material and which can be melted with the resin of the marker attachment part. The markers 6 and 7 are welded to the marker attachment part and, then, attached to the marker attachment part without a step by a heating and stretching work. Besides, the markers 6 and 7 are integrally mixed and melted with the marker attachment part so that safety is secured with excellent durability without deterioration in the mechanical strength of the marker attachment part. |
