PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic porous sintered compact which is obtained by charging a porous sintered ceramic body having pore diameter, porosity or the like different from those of a porous sintered ceramic base material into the pores of the porous sintered ceramic base material without causing strain, fractures, cracks or the like, and to provide a method for producing the sintered compact.
