PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system, capable of reducing costs and enhancing operability by sharing the use of ID discrimination compositions for entry into a room and each tenant implement. SOLUTION: The security system, allowing the plural tenant apparatuses to be housed in one room for the purpose of ensuring the security of the respective apparatuses, brings about the sharing of at least ID discrimination devices for the entry into the room and the sections where the respective apparatuses are housed. Additionally, key boxes for tenants are installed in the room, and the use of the ID discrimination devices for the opening and closing of the key boxes and the entry into the room is shared. The ID discrimination device for the entry into the room allows the corresponding key box to be unlocked, after a lapse of a prescribed time, when the result of ID discrimination during the entry into the room is OK'd.
