The base of the equipment consists of a posture plate (4) which has three force sensors and is able to find the single equivalent force from their data. The posture plate has a top plate (3) and a piezoelectric sensitive surface (2) is glued to it. The piezoelectric sensitive surface is protected from scratching by a layer of PVC (5) or similar material and is divided into a large number of cells able to give a detailed picture of weight distribution on the feet.
