PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the life of contacts. SOLUTION: This switch is equipped with a main contact piece 41 conducting seesaw motion on a neutral contact 35c and whose moving contact 42 at one end comes in contact with/separates from a fixed contact 37; and a sub-contact piece 43 conducting seesaw motion on a neutral contact 35d and whose moving contact 44 at one end comes in contact with/separate from a fixed contact 38, these moving contact pieces 41, 43 conduct seesaw motion by being pressed with a pressing rod by the operation of a lever, the moving contact 44 comes in contact with the fixed contact 38 before the moving contact 42 comes in contact with the fixed contact 37, and the moving contact 44 separates from the fixed contact 38 after the moving contact 42 separates from the fixed contact 38. Flow of making current and arc discharge are mainly conducted on the sub-moving contact piece 43 side.
