PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight measuring device, capable of visually recognizing arrangement immediately below a trolley wire, highly accurately measuring the height and deviation of the trolley wire, and being handled easily. SOLUTION: A slide frame 2 is stretched over rails R1. A slider 6 is slid over the slide frame 2. As a mirror 10 on the slider 6 reflects the trolley wire T1, it enables a workman to visually recognize that it is arranged in the vicinity, immediately below the trolley wire T1. A prism on the slider 6 causes horizontally directed laser light to refract from a laser distance sensor 4 immediately upward, to hit the trolley wire T1. The laser distance sensor 4 receives the reflected light to compute and display the height of the trolley wire T1. An alarm device receives the relrected light to the laser distance sensor 4 to transmit a detection signal. When the slider 6 pulls a wire stretched over a pulley and is moved to immediately below the trolley wire T1 from a deviated origin O, the deviation measuring device computes and displays the distance traveled to the point as a deviation.
