RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A reciprocating compressor is provided to improve compressing performance by preventing overpressure loss on compression and increasing inflow amount of refrigerant on intake. CONSTITUTION: A compression part includes a main piston(32); an auxiliary piston(36); and a resonant body(34). The main piston is connected with a connecting rod(14) to linearly reciprocate. The auxiliary piston contacts with refrigerant to compress and intake in a cylinder. The resonant body is a leaf spring, a coil spring or a pneumatic spring and is interposed between the main piston and the auxiliary piston. A coupling device(33) is installed between the main piston and the auxiliary piston to prevent detachment. The coupling device comprises a coupling pipe(33a) and a coupling rod(33b). Fixing protrusions(33b1,33a1) are installed on front ends of the coupling pipe and the coupling rod to prevent detachment from each other.
