<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp cover having light weight and breaking strength as high as possible in a simple means and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This lamp cover having the form of a hollow body 10 is made from transparent, translucent, or colored thermoplastic resin. The hollow body has an opening part 12 for inserting an illumination means detachably fixed to an illumination bracket. At least the partial region of the outside surface 16 has a diffusion film 20 made from a base material such as that of the hollow body 10, and effectively absorbs ultraviolet ray radiation. A transparent protecting film 24 is formed on the inside 18 of the hollow body, and the protecting film at least partially covers a mirror-like film according to circumstances, and/or absorbs ultraviolet rays.</p> |
