PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rolling bearing parts in which the dimensional change and the reduction of hardness at a high temperature are prevented, the occurance of damage started from the surface caused by a low viscous lubricant or the like is prevented, and a long service life can be secured. SOLUTION: Any of rolling bearing parts 1, 2 and 3 is composed of steel at least containing, as alloy elements, by mass, 0.6 to 1.3% C, 0.3 to 3.0% Si, 0.1 to 3.0% Ni, 1.0 to 2.0% Mn and 0.3 to 5.0% Cr, and when tempering is performed at a tempering temperature of 260 to 350 deg.C, the content of retained austenite in the surface layer is >=10 vol.%. |
