摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitter shift control means of a manually shifted compound transmission for automatically carrying out a splitter shift. SOLUTION: An up-shift engine speed 102 and a down-shift engine speed 104 corresponding to a driving circumstance of a vehicle are determined and an average value thereof is made to a target engine speed 110. For example, an engine torque of 75% is required (line 106) and when it is presumed that an expected output shaft speed is 1,000 RPM at the time when a 7/8-th gear speed shift caused by a shift lever is completed, a target engine speed 110 becomes about 1,520 RPM. An engine speed 112 at the seventh gear speed (low splitter ratio) becomes about 1,780 RPM and an engine speed 114 at the eighth gear speed (high splitter ratio) becomes about 1,330 RPM. Accordingly, a splitter type duplex change gear part is engaged with the high splitter ratio (i.e., the eighth speed gear) in which a speed difference against the target engine speed 110 is small.
