PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that can transmit weather forecast information of an area close to an address of a user to the user by using a facsimile terminal with only simple operations. SOLUTION: A center uses a caller telephone number notice service to acquire a caller telephone number, retrieves a postal code number from the telephone number on the basis of its own database, retrieves regional weather forecast information from the postal code number, and transmits the retrieved weather forecast information to the facsimile terminal.
