PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly for a substrate attaching type card capable of easily coping with the difference in attaching height to a substrate. SOLUTION: A grounding tongue piece 94 of a ground plate 20 and a press-in piece 112 of an intermediate contact 110 having a height corresponding to the attaching height of the connector assembly to the substrate 120 are pressed in a recessed groove 62, and a curved contact point 98 of the grounding tongue piece 94 and the press-in piece 112 are electrically contacted. A tine part 116 of the intermediate contact 110 is positioned on a pad of a grounding circuit trace on the substrate 120 to be attached with the assembly 1. A leg 114 of the intermediate contact 110 is held in a cutout 49 of a housing 2 so that the tine part 116 of the intermediate contact 110 is accurately positioned on the pad. By this, ground connection of the ground plate 20 to the substrate 120 is provided via the intermediate contact 110. |
