<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment and a communication method capable of realizing a more efficient use of a frequency band being a valid and precious resource, and solving demodulation error or the generation of retransmitted packet due to the detection error of a synchronizing signal. SOLUTION: At the time of judging a synchronizing signal detection timing by using an arithmetic operation by an auto-correlation processing part 19 and a cross-correlation processing part 21 and a cross-correlation arithmetic value, a synchronization processing part 18 can select a cross-correlation threshold comparison algorithm for normalizing the cross-correlation value, for comparing the calculated cross-correlation value with a preliminarily decided threshold, and for recognizing that a synchronizing signal is detected when the calculated cross-correlation value is beyond the threshold or a cross-correlation maximum value retrieval algorithm for detecting that the synchronizing signal is detected in a timing in which the unnormalized cross-correlation value is maximized in a period when auto-correlation is detected according to an electronic wave transmission environment.</p> |
