PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image changeover method for a liquid crystal display(LCD) device by which a screen can be changed over into a V- MODE(video mode) only with one button operation without any complicated setting operation and which can simply be operated even by a beginner, and to provide the liquid crystal display device using the method. SOLUTION: The device for changing over the screen display quality of the LCD by depressing the button by the user is provided with a means for easily changing over a normal screen to/from a video viewing screen by changing over the normal screen to the V-MODE more subjected to brightness improvement and color correction than those in the case of users button operation when the moving picture of DVD(digital video disc), TV(television) or the like is inputted to the LCD device.
