<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a member for wedging a tread by itself while being led to the bottom side of a large housed joint groove even if the rear end face thereof is hammered in the direction deviated from the regular fitting direction. SOLUTION: In this member for wedging the tread, a cutout part 10 of an L-shape in cross section is formed along the longitudinal direction thereof, and wedge parts 11 and 12 having gradually varied thickness are formed on one side surface and the rear surface of the other side surface of the cutout part 10 of the L-shape in cross section. The width dimension of one side surface of the cutout part 10 of the L-shape in cross section and the width dimension of the other side surface are reduced gradually along the direction for increasing the thickness of the wedge parts. Thus, tilted ridge lines 13 and 14 tilting in thickness and the lateral directions are formed, and projected lines 15 and 16 engraved in the fitting wall surfaces of the wedge parts 11 and 12 along the tilted ridge lines 13 and 14 are formed at the tilted ridge lines 13 and 14 portions.</p> |
