This invention refers to the elaboration and composition of an iodine complex, having the properties of controlling the diseases caused by bacteria and fungus attacking plants which are of economic, industrial and nutritious importance for man. The product is innovative due to it was possible to stabilize iodine with organic and inorganic acids, which enter into the plants metabolism, reducing with this to the minimum the contaminant residues and it is possible to take advantage of the disinfecting capacity of iodine for controlling plants diseases.
