According to the known methods with wireless communication, only one information symbol is transmitted by means of a carrier wave. The different types of information are digitally coded and transmitted in the form of data words. According to the new method, a plurality of information symbols can be transmitted by means of a carrier wave by assigning differing modulation indices to the individual information symbols. This increases the data rate of wireless communication. When used in passive identification systems, for example, transponders, the transmission of the clock information eliminates the need for the clock generation logic. The reduced energy consumption enables the communication distance to be increased. |
