ORGANIC ELECTRO LUMINESCENT DEVICE HAVING MULTI LAYER THIN FILM

PURPOSE: An organic electro luminescent device having a multi layer thin film is provided to achieve a stable elements operation by solving the PROBLEM of efficiency deterioration, operation instability and life time reduction. CONSTITUTION: An organic electro luminescent device comprises an anode(20), a hole transport layer(30), an electron transport layer(50) and a cathode(60) on a substrate(10), and a multi layer thin film(40) formed between the hole transport layer(30) and the electron transport layer(50). The multi layer thin film(40) is made of barrier material for electron movement and barrier material for hole movement. Material used as the electron transport layer(50) is applied in the portion adjacent to the hole transport layer(30) to suppress excessive movement of electrons from the anode(60) to the hole transport layer(30). Material used as the hole transport layer(30) is applied in the portion adjacent to the electron transport layer(50) to suppress excessive movement of holes from the anode(60) to the electron transport layer(50).
