<p>In the present invention, there is described a tubular half-finished product (1) being formed of end borders (4, 4'), a front part (5) of briefs (3) and a portion (6) of side knitwear, a front wedge-shaped part (7), a crotch knitwear (8), a seat portion (9) of the briefs (3) and a rear portion (12) of the briefs (3). The invented tubular half-finished product (1) further comprises a knitwear part (2) that is to be removed. There is successively knitted the first border (4), than simultaneously the front part (5) of the briefs (3) and the portion (6) of side knitwear all over the circumference of the machine needle cylinder whereupon the wedge-shaped part (7) is knitted on an arc of successively vanishing needles and simultaneously said knitwear part (2) that is to be removed on the arc of the successively vanishing needles. There is further knitted the crotch knitwear (8) on smaller arc of the needles and the knitwear part (2) on the greater arc of the needles. Subsequently there is knitted the wedge-shaped part of the briefs (3) seat portion (9) on the arc of successively increasing needles and the knitwear part (2) on the remaining arc of the successively vanishing needles. Finally, there is knitted al over the needle cylinder circumference the rear portion (12) knitwear and the briefs (3) sides and then the second border (4').</p> |
