PURPOSE: A method for updating a home-zone database in a mobile telecommunication system is provided to precisely update a home-zone area through the reception of a home-zone confirmation call. CONSTITUTION: In an idle state, a home-zone management server checks whether subscriber call information is received from an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(200,202). In case that subscriber call information is received, the home-zone management server executes call statistics by similar data among the received data(204). Then the home-zone management server carries out filtering using distance and an angle(206). After that, the home-zone management server executes call analysis(208). Then, using the distance-filtered value, the home-zone management server updates a home-zone list(210). The home-zone management server transfers this updated information to an HLR(Home Location Register) so that it can be applied and used at once(212). |
