<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for culturing an animal cell, especially an adherent cell in a high density and to provide a method for the culture. SOLUTION: This cell culture container has a hollow fiber having a semipermeable membrane function and a fibrous cell carrier for ready cell adhesion both of which are sealed in the inside. Both the end parts of the hollow fiber are fixed to both the end parts of the container through partitions so that the inner hollow part of the hollow fiber communicates with the outside of the cell culture container. The cell culture container is equipped with a connection opening to communicate with the inner hollow of the hollow fiber opening at both the end parts of the hollow fiber and a connection opening to communicate with a gap between the container and the hollow fiber. In the cell culture container, the cell carrier is stored in the gap part between the hollow fiber and the container. The method for culture by using the container is provided.</p> |
