PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool or a method in which mites, fleas, or the like, hiding in depth of fibers such as a carpet can simply and surely be removed and cleaned. SOLUTION: A foaming solution comprising phenothrin, a surfactant, <40% of ethanol as a volatile water-soluble organic solvent and water and filled in an aerosol container 10 is jetted onto a carpet 30 and the foamed solution is thereby deposited so as to float on the carpet 30. After the passage of 15-30 min, foam disappears and mites 34 hiding in the depth of fibers 32 of the carpet 30 crawl out to the surface 36 of the carpet 30. Thereby, the many mites 34 crawled out to the surface 36 of the carpet 30 are sucked with one throw and removed by using a vacuum cleaner 38.
