PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dobber capable of transporting a terminal tackle part to the farther offing and the whole layer as compared with a conventional dobber and utilizable even as a lure and a submerging guide tool when the terminal tackle part is recovered. SOLUTION: This dobber is used by floating a rodlike float body 1 nearly horizontally on the sea surface as opposed to a dobber nearly erecting on the sea surface. A plurality of guides 2 for threading a main line therethrough are mounted on the lateral face of the float body 1. Furthermore, the float body 1 is equipped with a fishhook 5 in an optinal place of the float body 1 and a submerging plate 7 at the rear in order to provide functions as the lure and the submerging guide tool.
