PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cauterization catheter having a cooling linear electrode. SOLUTION: This cauterization catheter is provided with a guide catheter and an inner catheter. The guide catheter comprises a shaft part installed on a part connected by a joint at a tip part of it, and a first handle part at a base end part of it. The inner catheter comprises a thin and long center shaft part, an electrode assembly installed on a tip part of the center shaft part, and a second handle part installed on a base end part of the center shaft part. The electrode assembly comprises a flexible plastic catheter tube having an outer surface part, a porous tip electrode, and at least one linear electrode carried on the outer surface part of the catheter tube. For relatively favorably positioning the electrode assembly to a roughly bow-like form at each inner hole part on the inner side of a heart, the electrode assembly is connected by a joint part. |
