PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting tool for a strap provided with a base, a means for fitting the base to the shoulder strap of a back pack and a releasable acquiring mechanism for fixing a tool holder. SOLUTION: The releasable acquiring mechanism is provided with a side wall extending upward, which is extended upward from the upper surface of the base 10 and having a projecting lip 20. A flexible arm 21 has a free end formed integrally with the base near the side wall and extended upward from the surface of the base. An abutting surface is arranged at the free end and when it is inserted under the projecting lip, it abuts on the tool holder, which is provided with a plate, a holder part to be fitted to the upper surface of the plate and a fitting part extended from the bottom surface of the plate. The fitting part is provided with a flange extended outward. The tool holder is connected to the base by inserting the flange under the projecting lip. The flexible arm applies upward pressure to the flange and this is pressed to the lip to keep it at a prescribed position.
